Ingredients:
1 cup - rice
1/4 cup - chana dal
1 cup - grated jaggery
1 cup - milk
2 tbsp - ghee
3 - cardamom pods
2 tsp - chopped dry coconut
Cashews
Method
- Bring 3 cups of water to boil and add the rice and chana dal.
- Let it cook completely.
- Now add the jaggery and allow it to melt.
- Then add the cardamom powder and milk to it and cook for 5 minutes.
- Heat ghee in a pan and fry the cashews and dry coconut until golden color.
- Add it to the rice mixture and mix well.
- Switch off the flame and serve.
